This sole proprietorship, located in Sayward, British Columbia, was founded by Terry Kluytmans in 1996.
We're often asked (amid peals of laughter, especially from those who grew up in the 1970s) where the name "Stairway to Webbin'" originated. Here's the background.
When forming the company, Terry was having a difficult time finding a name that she liked and that wasn't already spoken for. At lunch one day with the office gang, she bemoaned the fact that all the 'good ones' were taken. A brainstorming session followed, and before long, we were using song titles for inspiration. Miriam (bless her soul) came up with Stairway to Webbin', and the rest is history.
